In some cases the deer and motorcycle collided. More often the motorcycle operator tried to avoid the deer and lost control of their bike. I even worked one incident where a motorcyclist hit a turkey flying across the road. The outcome in that case was a broken leg and arm. So be careful out there, not matter what you are driving.
