Appalachian State University's Outdoor Programs in conjunction with the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts would like to announce this year's public reception and opening for the 2008 Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition.
The public is invited to visit the Mezzanine Gallery of the Turchin Center on the campus of ASU on Friday, March 7, 2008 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The gallery will host this year's winning entries from the AMPC through June 7, 2008.
Images selected for exhibition will also be available for viewing via the internet and everyone is invited to vote for their favorite image as part of the People's Choice Award sponsored by Footsloggers Outdoor and Travel Outfitters.
